IT Ministry’s Showdown On Sikhs for Justice, Apps, Websites Linked With SFJ Blocked
Chandigarh – While the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has ordered the blockage of apps, websites, and social media accounts of foreign-based Punjab politics TV that has closed links with Sikhs for Justice (SFJ). The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has been very, very active in identifying any platforms, any apps, any portals that have been spewing poison against India.
If we talk about this whole ministry call basically, the Ministry of Information and broadcast has gone ahead and blocked this foreign-based Punjab politics TV, this particular website, its app, and social media accounts. Were also set to have close links with Sikhs for justice. So, this has been the SFJ. The whole organization that is there has been declared unlawful under the unlawful activities Prevention Act.
So relying on the intelligence inputs that the channel was attempting to use online media to disrupt public order or the way to disturb the assembly elections that are going on, the Ministry has huge emergency pass and IT rules on 18 February, to block this particular Punjab politics TV, the call has been taken.

It was also seen that this particular channel somewhere was meant to incite communal disharmony and separatism and it was detrimental to the sovereignty and integrity of India and that this particular call has been taken overall there is also a message by the government of India that says that they are vigilant and committed to seeing that anything that is against India or any action that is that somewhere hampers the sovereignty or integrity of the country will be taken with strict acts.
