Shah Rukh Khan Joins RealMe as Brand Ambassador, to Promote 200MP Camera Phone

RealMe, one of the fastest-growing smartphone brands in India, has announced Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan as its new brand ambassador. The company has confirmed the news on its official Twitter handle, saying that it is “thrilled to welcome the King of Bollywood to the RealMe family”.
Shah Rukh Khan, who is also known as ‘Pathan’ after his upcoming movie of the same name, will be seen promoting the RealMe 11 Pro series, which is set to launch in India next month. The RealMe 11 Pro series is the brand’s premium offering in the mid-range segment and will feature a 200MP camera on the RealMe 11 Pro+ model.

RealMe has chosen Shah Rukh Khan as its new brand ambassador because of his popularity and charisma among the Indian audience. The company believes that Shah Rukh Khan’s personality resonates with its brand philosophy of being “dare to leap” and “young and trendy”.
Shah Rukh Khan is also known for his passion for technology and innovation, which aligns with RealMe’s vision of providing cutting-edge products and services to its customers. The actor has previously endorsed brands like Nokia, Hyundai, Dish TV, and Byju’s.

What to expect from the RealMe 11 Pro series?
The RealMe 11 Pro series will be the first in India to offer a 200MP camera on the RealMe 11 Pro+ model. The camera will use a Samsung ISOCELL HM3 sensor that can capture stunning details and colors in any lighting condition. The camera will also support 8K video recording, 100x zoom, and night mode.
The RealMe 11 Pro series will also feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset, 12GB of RAM, up to 1TB of internal storage, a 5,000mAh battery with up to 100W fast charging support, and Android 13-based RealMe UI 4.0 custom UI.
The RealMe 11 Pro series launch date in India is yet to be revealed, but it is expected to happen in June. The phones will compete with other mid-range flagships like the OnePlus Nord CE 5G, Xiaomi Mi 11X, and Samsung Galaxy A72.
How will this impact RealMe’s market share?
RealMe has been growing rapidly in India since its inception in 2018. According to Counterpoint Research, RealMe was the fourth-largest smartphone brand in India in Q1 2021 with a market share of 14%. The company has also expanded its portfolio to include smart TVs, laptops, earphones, smartwatches, and other IoT devices.
