Phagwara – Senior Congress leader and former Punjab Minister Joginder Singh Mann has resigned and joined the Aam Aadmi Party, breaking his 50-year-old tie with the party. Now Joginder Singh Mann leader of the scheduled caste community was angry with the Congress government for not taking any action against the perpetrators of the alleged multi-crow post metric SC scholarship scam and not granting district status to the Phagwara.
Mann had also resigned from the post of Chairman of Punjab agro-industries Corporation on a Friday. Now, Joginder Singh Mann resigning from his post severing his ties with Congress. We getting information that Congress leader and former minister Joginder Singh Mann has resigned and he’s joined the AAP party.
Just ahead of the Punjab elections, we are seeing, big faces turning around to the other political parties. And yesterday only Joginder Singh Mann who was associated with Congress for the past 50 years. He has broken that particular relation and he was five-time MLA, from the Congres Party. So it’s a big jolt for Congress, just ahead of the 2022 elections.
Well, Joginder Singh Mann belongs to the ST community, he was unhappy about the congress policies. He raised about the post metric scholarship scam that was not addressed by the government also, there was he was continuously asking to give Phagwara district status which was not given.
So he was unhappy with the, you know, current government and now he has joined hand with Aam Aadmi Party under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal. He joined Aam Aadmi Party. Well, he was also holding the post of Chairman agricultural industrial cooperation, which he resigned two days back and he is now joined Aadmi Party just ahead of the 2022 elections.

Well, not only Joginder Singh Mann but other leaders from the Congress Party was very angry with the functioning of the government for the past five years. Well, it was earlier against Captain Amrinder Singh who was running the government for four and half years. He was there as a chief minister, the senior leadership, including Navjot Singh Sidhu, Charanjit Singh Channi, and Tripat Rajinder Singh Bajwa, all stood against Captain Amrinder Singh and forced him to step down as the Chief Minister.
But still, there is anger against these senior leaders of Congress Party who were with Congress for past 50 to 60 years, and Joginder Singh Mann who was, you know, five-time MLA for congress party from Malwa region, you know, he has that particular hole. So it’s a big jolt for Congress Party, and it’s not with only Congress, but other parties also seeing, leaders are shifting to one to another party over here in Punjab.
