Kyiv – Ukraine has announced the closure of navigation in the northwestern region of the Black Sea. That’s the update that we have for you. Ukraine has blocked all the routes to the Black Sea. This is significant because they’re trying to choke as far as the Russian Navy is concerned, as fighting is escalating. This route has been blocked by Ukraine.
You know, just to tell you that four days ago, Russian forces in what they called an anti-terror operation had blocked parts of the Black Sea as well as far as navigation is concerned.
Now, if you look at where when you talk about the significance, if you look at where the fighting is on currently, right now, Kherson, as we have reported, had fallen earlier today something that the Russians in the Ukrainians have now confirmed what is this? This is a black seaport.
It’s an important port. The second city that we are talking about where massive fighting is continuing and there’s an airborne assault by attack helicopters that is currently underway is Mykolaiv another strategic Black Sea coast port, which essentially means that what Russia is targeting is apart from, of course, Kyiv is these strategic port cities, which are so crucial to Ukraine’s economy and so crucial to Russia as well if Russia does manage to get hold of them.
Mykolaiv, if I can be just specific about that it has a little inlet from where the Russians can bring in that troops their supplies as well, which is why it becomes important for Ukraine to shut off the ceilings as it were in the Black Sea. Can they stop the Russians? You know, if they do manage to block the Russians by sea, there is an airborne assault that is already underway all along the clock coast.

We have seen it in Kherson. We are seeing it in Mykolaiv as well. Also, importantly, do remember that Turkey has barred the Russian fleet, which is currently located in the Black Sea to pass two of its traits to come towards the Ukrainian core. So that is something that is happening as well.
