Vladimir Putin Bans Cash Exports From Russia, Decree Prohibits Leaving Country With Over $10K In Forex
Moscow – Well, Vladimir Putin has signed a decree to prohibit Russians from leaving the country with more than $10,000 in foreign currency. The move follows the sanctions the US and allies have imposed on Russia over its invasion of Ukraine.
Vladimir Putin came up with a proposal rather than a decree that nobody is going to leave Russia with more than $10,000. This is trying to take stock and keep as much money as possible within the country, which is going to be facing the wrath of other Western countries with sanctions.
