Sidharth Malhotra Reveals Why He Doesn’t Need PR to Create an Aura

His father Mahesh Malhotra is a director who has worked in films like Dil Hai Tumhaara and Aashiqui 2. His mother Pooja Bhatt is a producer who has worked in films like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Zakhm.
Malhotra made his debut as a child artist in the TV show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi when he was only four years old. He then appeared in several TV shows and commercials before making his film debut as Aditya Roy Kapur in Student of the Year (2012), which was a blockbuster hit.

Malhotra also proved his mettle as a serious actor by playing the role of Captain Vikram Batra in Shershaah (2021), which was based on the true story of the Kargil war hero who sacrificed his life for the nation. The film received rave reviews from critics and audiences alike for its realistic portrayal of war and patriotism. Sidharth Malhotra’s performance was hailed as one of the best by many critics who praised him for bringing out the emotions and courage of the character.
Why Sidharth Malhotra Doesn’t Need PR

“I always wanted my work to speak for itself,” he said. “I never cared about what people thought about me or how they perceived me. I just wanted to do good work that would make people happy.”
He added that he never followed any trends or fads that were popular among other actors at that time. He always chose scripts that suited him best according to their genre or theme rather than their box office potential or star value.
“I never did anything just because it was popular or trendy,” he said.
