Sheezan Khan Breaks Silence on Tunisha Sharma’s Death Anniversary, Reveals Shocking Reason for His Silence

Mumbai– It has been a year since the tragic death of TV actress Tunisha Sharma, who was found hanging in a toilet on the set of her show Alibaba – Dastaan-e-Kabul on December 24, 2022. The 20-year-old’s death shocked the entertainment industry and her fans, who still mourn her loss and demand justice. Her co-star and ex-boyfriend Sheezan Khan, who was arrested on charges of abetment to suicide, is still in judicial custody and awaits trial.
But on the first death anniversary of Tunisha, Sheezan surprised everyone by not posting anything on his social media accounts to pay tribute to her. While many of Tunisha’s friends and colleagues shared emotional messages and photos to remember her, Sheezan remained silent and did not even change his profile picture, which still shows him with Tunisha.
Many fans wondered why Sheezan did not express his grief or remorse on such a significant day. Some speculated that he was trying to avoid attention or that he had moved on with his life. Others accused him of being insensitive and heartless.
However, Sheezan finally broke his silence and revealed the reason behind his silence in a question and answer session on Instagram. He said that he was not allowed to post anything on Tunisha’s death anniversary because of a legal agreement he had signed with the producers of the show.
“They made me sign a paper that I won’t post anything related to Tunisha or the show until the case is over,” Sheezan wrote in response to a fan’s query. “They said it would affect the investigation and the public opinion. They also threatened to sue me if I violated the agreement.”
Sheezan added that he was still grieving for Tunisha and that he missed her every day. He said that he loved her and that he was innocent of the charges against him. He also thanked his fans for their support and prayers.
“I wish I could tell you how much I love her and how much I miss her. She was my everything. I didn’t do anything to hurt her. I’m innocent and I hope the truth will come out soon. Thank you for standing by me and praying for me. I need your love and strength more than ever,” he wrote.
Sheezan’s revelation sparked mixed reactions from the fans. Some sympathized with him and said that they believed him and hoped for his acquittal. Others criticized him and said that he was lying and that he was responsible for Tunisha’s death.
Tunisha’s family, who had filed a complaint against Sheezan, also reacted to his statement. Tunisha’s uncle Pawan Sharma, who has been vocal about seeking justice for his niece, said that he did not buy Sheezan’s excuse and that he was trying to manipulate the public.
“He is lying. He is trying to play the victim and gain sympathy. He is the one who drove Tunisha to suicide. He cheated on her, abused her, and broke her heart. He has no right to talk about her or the show. He should be ashamed of himself,” Pawan said.
Pawan also said that he was happy with the Bombay High Court’s decision to dismiss Sheezan’s plea of quashing the FIR against him. He said that he was confident that Sheezan would be convicted and punished for his crime.
“We are happy with the court’s verdict. Justice has been done. We are confident that Sheezan will be proven guilty and sent to jail for a long time. We will not rest until we get justice for Tunisha. She deserves nothing less,” he said.
Tunisha’s death has been one of the most controversial and sensational cases in the TV industry. The police have recovered a note from the set where Tunisha died, which said “he is blessed to have me as a co-actor Woohooo”. They have also recovered nearly 250 pages of WhatsApp chats between Sheezan and Tunisha from his phone, which they are analyzing. They are also trying to retrieve the deleted WhatsApp conversation from Sheezan’s phone that he had with a “secret girlfriend”.
The case has also raised questions about the working conditions and mental health of TV actors, who often face stress, pressure, and competition in the industry. Tunisha had spoken about her struggle with depression and anxiety in previous interviews. She had also posted a photo of herself on Instagram hours before her death, with the caption “those who are driven by their passion doesn’t [don’t] stop”.
Tunisha was a rising star who had acted in several TV shows and films. She had a huge fan following on social media, who still remember her for her talent and beauty. She was playing a royal princess in the show inspired by the folk tale Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves, opposite Sheezan, who played the titular role.
Sheezan was also a popular TV actor, who had worked in several shows before joining Alibaba – Dastaan-e-Kabul. He had a loyal fan base, who supported him throughout his career. He had admitted to being in a relationship with Tunisha, but had broken up with her 15 days before her death.
The case is still under investigation and the trial is yet to begin. The fans and the industry are eagerly waiting for the final verdict, which will determine the fate of Sheezan and the legacy of Tunisha. Until then, the mystery and the drama surrounding their tragic love story will continue to haunt and fascinate many.
