Crakk Box Office Collection Day 3 Plot

Plot

The film begins with a narration by Venkatesh, who explains that a ₹50 note, a green mango, and a nail resemble the fate of three persons who come across a cop named Shankar. The first person is Saleem Batkal, a terrorist who is responsible for the Mumbai blasts. He is arrested by Shankar in Kurnool after he rents a house with fake details and tries to escape.

The second person is Konda Reddy, a sadistic goon who rules over Kadapa. He is challenged by Shankar, who is transferred to Kadapa as the circle inspector. Shankar saves a girl from Konda Reddy’s dogs and also foils his attempts to kill a doctor and a journalist. The third person is Katari Krishna, a notorious criminal who is imprisoned in Rajahmundry. He is the mastermind behind Konda Reddy’s activities and also has a personal grudge against Shankar, who had killed his brother in an encounter.

The film then shifts to the present, where Shankar is happily married to Kalyani, a sweet shop owner, and has a son named Shiva. He is posted in Ongole, where he faces a new challenge in the form of Jayamma, a local politician who is involved in illegal activities. Shankar exposes her scams and arrests her son, which angers her. She joins hands with Katari Krishna, who has escaped from prison with the help of Konda Reddy. Katari Krishna plans to take revenge on Shankar by killing his family and friends.

He also kidnaps Kalyani and Shiva and threatens to kill them if Shankar does not surrender. Shankar, however, does not give up and decides to fight back. He tracks down Katari Krishna’s hideout and engages in a fierce battle with him and his henchmen. He manages to rescue his family and kill Katari Krishna, Konda Reddy, and Jayamma, thus ending their reign of terror. The film ends with Shankar celebrating his victory with his family and colleagues.

Crakk Box Office Collection Day 3 Review

Review

Crakk is a fast-paced and entertaining film that delivers what it promises: a high-octane action thriller with a strong hero and a menacing villain. The film does not waste time in setting up the plot and jumps right into the action from the first scene. The film keeps the audience engaged with its twists and turns and does not let go of the momentum till the end. The film also balances the action with some comedy and romance and does not take itself too seriously.

The film’s biggest strength is its cast, especially Ravi Teja, who plays the role of Shankar with aplomb. He is convincing as the fearless and honest cop, who does not hesitate to take on the powerful and corrupt. He also showcases his charisma and comic timing and shares good chemistry with Shruti Haasan, who plays his wife. Shruti Haasan does a decent job as the supportive and loving Kalyani, who also has a feisty side.

She gets to show her acting skills in some emotional scenes and also looks glamorous in the songs. Samuthirakani and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar are impressive as the main antagonists, Katari Krishna and Jayamma. They portray their characters with menace and intensity and make the audience hate them. The supporting cast, including Sudhakar Komakula, Chirag Jani, Ali, and Vamsi Chaganti, also do justice to their roles.

The film’s technical aspects are also commendable, especially the cinematography by G. K. Vishnu, and the editing by Naveen Nooli. The film has a sleek and stylish look, and the action scenes are well-shot and choreographed. The film also has a catchy and energetic soundtrack by Thaman S, who recreates some of the songs from the original Telugu version. The songs are well-placed and suit the mood of the film. The background score is also effective and enhances the impact of the scenes.

The film, however, is not without its flaws. The film has a predictable and formulaic plot, which does not offer much novelty or surprise. The film also has some logical loopholes and inconsistencies, which may bother the discerning viewers. The film also has some unnecessary and forced scenes, such as the item song featuring Nora Fatehi, and the cameo appearance by Salman Khan. The film also has some violence and gore, which may not be suitable for all audiences.

Verdict

Crakk is a film that does not pretend to be anything more than what it is: a masala entertainer that caters to the masses. The film delivers on its promise of providing a thrilling and enjoyable ride, with a solid performance by Ravi Teja and a gripping story.

The film is a perfect example of how a remake can be done right, by retaining the essence of the original and adding some local flavor. The film is a must-watch for the fans of Ravi Teja and action films and a good option for others who are looking for some entertainment.

Rating

Crakk has received a 7.1/10 rating on IMDb from 7.3K voters. This is less than the 8.1/10 rating that Krack, the Telugu original, got from 9.4K voters on IMDb.
