Odesa – Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina has said she would not play against a Russian competitor unless tennis governing bodies followed the IOC recommendations not to display Russia and Belarus national flags and international sporting events following Russia’s invasion. So even Ukrainian tennis stars taking position now a public position against playing athletes from Russia or Belarus, unless these recommendations of international bodies are followed.
As you see, of course, the code of sportsman says that you should be a way for politics, but when your nation is involved, nothing takes precedence over that. So if the tennis players etc, are with their country, probably you never know the sportsman we will be joining the army.
So, I stand by their emotions. Yes, If they have decided to do that, not to take part in it. It was done earlier also. It was seen banning the Olympics during Second World War, we have seen all those things. So I think that now people are getting emotionally involved.

I only wish that Ukraine had prepared itself for this danger and not fallen under the trap of it will become NATO. If Ukraine had not done that, probably Ukraine would have been better prepared, and probably the wrath of Russia would not have been so remarkable as you see it now.
