Plot

The Wheel of Time season 2 episode 8 will conclude the second part of the season and set up the stage for the third and final part. The official synopsis for the episode has not been released yet, but based on the trailer and the events of episode 7, we can expect some of the following plot points:

  • Rand will face his destiny at the Eye of the World, where he will confront Ishamael and learn more about his past and his role in the Pattern. He will also have to deal with his bond with Alanna and his feelings for Min.
  • Perrin will rescue Egwene from the Seanchan, who have captured her and turned her into a damane. He will also have to cope with his wolf nature and his guilt over killing Whitecloaks.
  • Nynaeve will heal Logain from his gentling by using her extraordinary talent with One Power. She will also have to face Liandrin, who betrayed her and her friends to the Black Ajah.
  • Mat will be cured from his connection to the dagger by Moiraine, who will use an ancient artifact called a ter’angreal. He will also have to face his luck and his memories from other lives.
  • Egwene will escape from the Seanchan with Perrin’s help, but not before learning more about their culture and their use of damane. She will also have to face Lanfear, who has taken an interest in her.
