In a promotional video for ‘Animal’, Ranbir Kapoor revealed that he and his trainer had an emotional reaction when they saw Bobby Deol’s shirtless avatar for the first time. Ranbir Kapoor said that ‘Animal’ was his first action film, and he was nervous about doing a shirtless scene. He said that his trainers took his photos in the gym because he was the first one to remove his shirt in the film. He said that when he removed his shirt, the whole unit applauded him and cheered him on.
However, two days later, when Bobby Deol removed his shirt for his scene, Ranbir Kapoor and his trainer were stunned by his amazing transformation. Ranbir Kapoor said that he and his trainer were so impressed and inspired by Bobby Deol’s physique that they started crying. He said that he felt like he had achieved nothing compared to Bobby Deol, who had worked so hard to change his body and his image.
Anil Kapoor’s admiration
Anil Kapoor, who played Ranbir Kapoor’s father in the film, also expressed his admiration for Bobby Deol’s transformation.
