Suniel Shetty and Ahan Shetty Offer Prayers at Ujjain’s Mahakal Temple
Ujjain – Suniel Shetty and his son Ahan Shetty embarked on a spiritual journey as they visited the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, on Friday. The father-son duo participated in the Bhasma Aarti, a ritual that involves offering sacred ash to the deity, and wore traditional white shawls over their casual outfits.
A divine experience
The Border actor took to Instagram to share a video of his trip to the holy site, where he can be seen taking part in the morning Aarti along with his son. He captioned the video, “Har Har Mahadev, Jai Mahakal.” The video shows the devotees chanting the praises of Lord Shiva and performing the Aarti with reverence and devotion.
Suniel Shetty also expressed his gratitude to the temple authorities for their hospitality and arrangements. He wrote, “Thank you Mahakal Mandir for the divine experience and the love showered on us. A special thanks to the Collector and the SP for making it so comfortable and memorable.”

A proud father
Ahan Shetty, who made his Bollywood debut with the romantic action film Tadap in 2021, also shared some pictures from their visit to the temple on his Instagram account. He wrote, “Jai Shree Mahakal.” The pictures show him posing with his father and the temple priests, as well as offering prayers to the idol of Lord Shiva.
Suniel Shetty is a proud father of two children, Ahan and Athiya, who are both pursuing their careers in the film industry. He often shares his support and appreciation for their work on social media. He recently praised Ahan for his performance in Tadap, which was a remake of the Telugu hit RX 100. He wrote, “You have made us proud Ahan. Your hard work, dedication and passion for cinema is evident in every frame of Tadap. Love you beta.”

Upcoming projects
Suniel Shetty has a busy year ahead of him, as he has several projects lined up for release. He will be seen in the action comedy film Soorya, directed by Rohit Shetty and starring Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, and Ranveer Singh. He will also reprise his role as Shyam in the third installment of the Hera Pheri franchise, which will reunite him with Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal. He will also produce a few films, including Sidharth Malhotra-starrer Yodha and the horror comedy sequel Stree 2.
Ahan Shetty, on the other hand, has signed his second film with producer Sajid Nadiadwala, who launched him in Tadap. The details of the film are yet to be revealed, but it is expected to be another action-packed entertainer.
